Light in Open Spaces: catch up here

Bethlem Museum of the Mind was our venue for this year’s Being Alongside conference, where around 50 supporters of the charity gathered to hear from two stimulating speakers and take in a tour of the galleries.

The event sought to explore how light, creativity and expansive spaces can open pathways to personal transformation, deepen spiritual awareness and support mental health.

Our first speaker was Steve Radley, an RAF chaplain, ex-serviceman and professional photographer. You can listen to Steve’s presentation below.

Next up, Sara “Siggy” Parratt–Halbert, a visually imaginative creator who turns complex ideas into engaging, story-rich images by weaving theology, artistry and learning. You can listen back to Siggy’s talk below.

A written summary of the two walks and the wider event will feature in our summer magazine.

Thank you to all who joined us on the day.
